Student Referrals
According to recent surveys, 96% of our alumnae would recommend Meredith to others (and do!). Alumnae are wonderful ambassadors for the College. You understand instinctively who will thrive at Meredith, what makes us strong, and can relate your own positive experiences to prospective students.
If you know a young woman who might be a good fit for Meredith, we invite you to help her make a connection with us. Here’s how
Visit Campus
Encourage her to visit campus – or bring her yourself to a Discover Meredith event.
Interact on Socials
Suggest that she interact with us on social media including Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
Read the Meredith Magazine
Share a copy of Meredith Magazine with her.
Explore our Blog
Suggest that she check out the Admissions Blog.
Refer a Student through our Alumnae Referral Program
Refer a Student, and give the gift of Meredith College.
- To help us recruit future Angels, the College has revamped the alumnae referral program. Here’s how it works:
- We have streamlined the referral voucher. This digital form is much shorter and easier for you to complete.
- Once completed, the student you refer will be added to our database and will be contacted by a member of our admissions staff. Your referral will waive the student’s application fee.
- If the student applies and is accepted to Meredith, we will name their Academic Merit Award in your honor as a thank you for sharing the gift of Meredith with them and in recognition of the relationship you have with your student
Alumnae Teachers and School Personnel
Visit Campus
Are you a teacher and interested in bringing your class for a campus tour and visit? Many high schools are now facilitating college and university tours for their students.
Please contact Grace Christenbury at gmchristenbury@meredith.edu or (919) 760-8107 for additional information or to schedule your class visit.
Back-to-School-Packet
At the start of the new academic year, the Office of Alumnae Relations provides back-to-school packets to educators and school personnel, including teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, social workers, administrators, and more. The back-to-school packets allow us to thank our alumnae and alumni educators while also promoting Meredith College within your classroom or office. Packets include office supplies as well as a current listing of Admissions visitation dates. See the Alumnae Facebook group and check your email to sign up. The call to sign up is usually in July.
Request a Pennant
The Office of Admissions will mail educators a pennant for their classroom or office. Please request one by emailing Grace Christenbury at gmchristenbury@meredith.edu.
