A: Transfer applicants must submit a completed application which includes a personal essay of 250 words on the topic of their choice. Applicants must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended. Applicants with fewer than 30 credit hours complete at the time of application may also be required to submit an official high school transcript and official SAT or ACT scores.
All transfer applicants are required to submit the School Report – completed by the Registrar’s Office at their current or most recent institution. Professor recommendations are encouraged, but are not required.

No. Meredith College does not require transfer applicants to have a minimum number of credits complete at the time of application. However, applicants with fewer than 24 transferable credits at the time of application will also need to submit high school credentials.
Yes. Meredith considers all admitted transfer students for Merit Scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 per year (Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 Entry). We also award $5,000 annual scholarships to admitted transfer students who have been inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society and submit documentation of their induction with their application for admission.
