Adverse Winter Weather
With the Raleigh area under a Winter Storm Advisory, Meredith College classes will be held remotely on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Employees who can work remotely can do so during all shifts on January 26 – January 27. Campus activities for Sunday, January 25, are also cancelled.

Please continue to monitor weather updates from the National Weather Service and local news outlets for the most up-to-date information on the storm. For more information on winter weather safety and preparation, visit  ReadyNC.gov.

Applicants may submit a GRE/MAT Waiver Request form for review.  Determined on a case by case basis, if approved, applicants may be exempt from taking an admissions test.

Applicants to Meredith’s M.A.T. program are required to submit an official report of scores of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), mailed directly from the Educational Testing Service.

Applicants to Meredith’s M.Ed. program are required to submit an official report of scores of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), mailed directly from the Educational Testing Service, or official mailed scores from the Miller Analogies Test (MAT).

The official sites of the GRE or the MAT provide information about each test: an overview of the test, registration information, suggestions for test preparation, a practice exam and details on test scoring.
