First Year applicants must submit an official high school transcript. Request your transcript from your school’s registrar or guidance counselor.

Transfer applicants must submit all official college transcripts from every college, university, or other post-secondary institution attended. Request the official transcripts to be sent to Meredith Admissions from the institutions. If you have less than 24 transferable credits, you will also need to submit your high school transcript.

Freshman, transfer, and adult applicants must submit a $40 non-refundable fee or acceptable fee waiver. Readmission applicants must submit a $40 non-refundable fee. Online payment can be made here. You may also pay by mailing a check or money order to the Office of Admissions, 3800 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27607-5298. Cash is also accepted.

Applicants must indicate “yes” or “no” to this two-part question. An explanation is required for any “yes” responses.

First Year, transfer, Wings degree completion, and Wings second degree applicants must provide a list of all courses in which they are currently enrolled or an explanation of how time has been spent if not currently enrolled.

First Year Early Decision applicants for the fall term submit this form agreeing to the terms of the Early Decision plan.

Meredith Application Essay Prompt:
Applicants using Meredith’s application are required to submit their thoughtful response to the following prompt (maximum length should be no longer than 500 words):

Please describe how you’ve familiarized yourself with Meredith College and two aspects of our community that attract and inspire you.

Transfer and Wings applicants:

Please submit a personal essay on a topic of your choice (at least 250 words):

• Transfer applicants may wish to address their reasons for leaving their current institution to attend Meredith.
• Wings applicants may address their desire to return to college in general and why Meredith is an appropriate place to achieve that goal.

First Year home-school applicants must submit two letters of recommendation; one must be from a non-relative.

Applicants may be required to interview with an admissions officer.

• First Year applicants wishing to reside off-campus must submit the off-campus housing request.
• Transfer students under the age of 21 at time of enrollment must submit an off-campus housing request.
