Meredith Affiliate Semester and Summer Programs
For Affiliate semester and summer Study Abroad programs, students will complete both a third party provider application and a Meredith Affiliate Study Abroad application. Both applications must be completed by the appropriate deadline. Slots for semester Affiliate programs may be limited, so it is important to start the advising process as early as possible.
Deadlines for Affiliate Programs
- October 2, 2023 – Spring 2024 program applications
- October 16, 2023 – Spring 2024 scholarship applications
- December 1, 2023 – Early Decision for Summer and Fall 2024 Affiliate Programs
- February 15, 2024 – Summer 2024 and Fall 2024
Notice of fees: Meredith students approved to study on Affiliate Programs will be assessed a non-refundable study abroad fee of $400 (summer 2024) or $500 (fall 2024).

Please send the following links to your academic advisor and two faculty who can provide academic references in support of your application. Your academic advisor may also serve as one of your academic references.
When you send the link, include the following information in your email to faculty:
- Your Name
- Course(s) You’ve Taken with Your Faculty Reference
- Study Abroad Program Choice
- Term Abroad (Spring 2023, Summer 2023, Fall 2023)

4. Virtual Meeting with Office of Financial Assistance:
All applicants are required to schedule a meeting with Ms. Judith Schram in the Office of Financial Assistance.
- Set up your virtual appointment with Ms. Schram.
- When you schedule your appointment, include the following information:
- Your name
- The name of the study abroad program to which you are applying
- Term Abroad (Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024)
- Download a copy of the Meredith Affiliate financial planning worksheet.
- Review your affiliate program’s budget from your provider’s website.
- Before meeting with the Office of Financial Assistance, we strongly recommend that you attend a Study Abroad Funding Workshop, offered regularly via Zoom.
5. Affiliate Application
Submit and complete your study abroad application with your Affiliate program (CIEE, DIS, API, IFSA-Butler) by the Meredith deadline.
