Professor Emerita Betty Webb, ’67, received the Meredith College 2025 Woman of Achievement Award during a special event on April 28, 2025. She was interviewed during the event by Vice President for College Programs and Professor of English Jean Jackson, ’75.

Meredith College will celebrate the Class of 2025 at commencement on Saturday, May 10. The undergraduate ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. in the courtyard of Johnson Hall, and the graduate ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. in Jones Auditorium.

Meredith College Professor Emerita Fran Page received the Raleigh Youth Choir’s Bob Goodale Noteworthy Service Award in recognition of her work as a music educator and visionary creator of the Capital City Girls Choir.

Students in the BUS405 Venture Management course recently partnered with the Meredith marketing and Emily Kelleher, store manager, to reimagine the Meredith Campus Store experience.

Meredith College alumna Macy Brinson, ’19, has been named the 2025 Wake County Public School System Teacher of the Year. She is a physical education teacher at Kingswood Magnet Elementary in Cary.

Faculty, staff, and students enjoyed a Garden Party on Wednesday, April 23, at the Chapel Gazebo area. The event’s purpose was to thank faculty and staff for all of their contributions to students’ lives and to have fun celebrating with a Bridgerton theme.

Meredith College fashion design student Serena Danieli, ’25, recently won first place in the “Intermediate and Beyond” category at the 27th annual AATS Fashion Exposé.

The Meredith Autism Program (MAP) is excited to announce open enrollment for our inclusive, play-based preschool classroom for the upcoming 2025-26 school year, as well as offer a 50% discount on monthly tuition for all faculty and staff.

Meredith College has announced the Summer Reading Program selection for 2025 is Tracy K. Smith’s memoir Ordinary Light, a finalist for the National Book Award. The College will welcome Smith, a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and memoirist, to campus in the fall 2025 semester.
