Aimee Sapp Begins Tenure as Meredith’s Ninth President

After being named president-elect in March, Aimee Sapp officially began as Meredith College’s ninth president on July 1, 2024.
President Sapp brings more than 25 years of higher education experience at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, advancing from assistant professor to provost and chief academic officer, a position she held since 2013.
The new president was chosen after a national search, led by a Presidential Search Committee that included representatives from the faculty, staff, student body, and Board of Trustees.
