Award-winning author Venita Blackburn’s work has appeared in thenewyorker.com, Harper’s, Ploughshares, McSweeney’s, the Paris Review, and others. She is a recipient of the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Fiction and a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction.
