An Honors Scholar with majors in psychology and mathematics, Paige Lawrence, ’21, has learned the importance of community while at Meredith— a realization that inspired her to work with retirement homes to study fall prevention. After graduation, she will continue her studies at East Carolina University in the Master of Occupational Therapy program.
Building her legacy of kindness at Meredith College, Rachel Hefner, ’21, dedicates most of her time volunteering to improve the lives of those who live within her local community.
Business administration major and honors student Tasia Bromell, ’21, studied abroad and held leadership roles both on campus and during her HR internship. She continued her education at Meredith as an accelerated MBA student.
For Olivia Brown, ’20, identifying her top strengths served her well during her internship as a frontend software developer at HCL Technologies, where she accepted a full-time position after graduation.
Presidential Scholar Carol Jablonski, ’20, took advantage of opportunities early on at Meredith, allowing her to land a job at MetLife Global Technology months before graduation.
Leia Davis, ’19, graduated from Meredith with a degree in Interior Design, and is now a Visual Space Planner at Lowe’s Headquarters near Charlotte, N.C.
Mimi Mays, ՚20, has enjoyed a variety of experiences, including studying abroad and participating in Moot Court, which will help prepare her to attend law school.
At Meredith, Jennifer Garcia, ’19, has worked toward her longtime aspiration to become an attorney, and each of her experiences has built toward this goal.
Combining her passion for social change and teaching, Meredith Legacy Scholar and Teaching Fellow Kirby Jones, ՚19, knows that leadership opportunities and internships while at Meredith have prepared her to educate the next group of strong women.
Nikki Wertz, ’19, is a woman of few words. As a studio art major, she uses her art to tell stories, express herself, and be a voice for social issues that matter to her. It’s through art that she finds her voice.
For Sana Haseeb, ’19, helping others has always been an important part of her life. When she arrived at Meredith, she sought out ways to lend a helping hand around campus and in the local community.
With a passion for helping others, Shila Alexander, ’21, is using her time at Meredith to give back to the community and serve as a positive light on campus.
