A scholarship program for first-year students planning to major in English and add a teaching licensure in middle or high school English.
In addition to a $3,000 annual award, funded enrichment opportunities include professional conference attendance, undergraduate research, financial support for study abroad, praxis interest groups, professional mentoring, cultural and social events, and networking with future and current English teachers.
Note: Students applying for the Satisky Scholarship for Teachers of English should apply to the college using the Early Action (Oct 30) or Priority 1 (Dec. 1) Application Plan.
First Year, English major, 6-9 or 9-12 teaching licensure
