Psychology & Social Work Department
The Department of Psychology and Social Work fosters the professional and intellectual development of its students. With an emphasis on practical application and real-world experience through practicum and internships, as well as scholarly research and critical thinking, both programs prepare graduates for successful careers in the field or for continued study in graduate school.
Statement from the Department:
Students in our schools need and deserve antiracist teachers who are not afraid to teach, learn, and lead the way toward equitable schools and a just society.
