Meredith College will celebrate the inauguration of President Aimee Sapp on Friday, April 4, 2025. This special event in Meredith’s history will be held at 10 a.m. in Jones Auditorium.
Anita Thomas has been selected to serve as the next provost of Meredith College. She will begin in this role on April 7, 2025.

Meredith alumnae Cinda (Bodford) Alexander, ’83, and Elizabeth (Alexander) Green, ’12, visited a hospitality management class on Wednesday, February 26, to share their wisdom and experience as owners of Lux Lineage, a boutique floral design business based in the Winston-Salem area.
Fifty-two Meredith College students participated in the two-day 2025 Entrepreneurial Challenge, hosted by the School of Business.
In the 2024-25 Faculty Distinguished Lecture, Professor of Music Kent Lyman shared vignettes that explore the life and work of musicians from the past. In the lecture-recital, held on February 27, 2025, Dr. Lyman showed the power of music to connect people across time.
