The Department of Nutrition, Health and Human Performance fosters a comprehensive approach to learning that promotes the integration of physical and intellectual skills and abilities. The department’s faculty and programs encourage students to develop disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge, critical cognitive abilities, movement and nutritional awareness, physical skill development, and lifelong wellness behaviors.

Chris Dunham,’16, M.S. in Nutrition, knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the nutrition field, but wasn’t sure being a dietitian was right for him.
