What is Meredith En Español?

Meredith En Español is one of Meredith’s many ways to help high school students and their families with their college research. We know that the search for colleges and universities can be tedious, time-intensive, stressful, and sometimes quite intimidating. We also know that the application and enrollment processes are loaded with information, but having to translate this information from one language to the next adds an additional layer of difficulty.
Here at Meredith College, we want to make sure that each potential student has all the resources available to take that next big step. Meredith En Español was developed for native Spanish-speaking prospective students with the intention to facilitate the sharing of important Meredith College information and resources with their parents. In this special section of the Meredith web site, we have translated some of our most important webpages, from English to Spanish, to make the information more accessible to these families. This information ranges from scholarships, admissions criteria, blog posts, to a virtual tour.
Why Spanish?
As an institution, we believe in the importance of diversity in our campus. The number of students who identify as Hispanic or Latina enrolling in our college is increasing. We want these students and their families to feel welcomed into our campus and benefit from all the resources we have to offer; this new resource is designed to make application information more accessible to future Meredith students and their families.
What kind of information can I find?
Under the En Español icon, you can find translated content such as: admission and enrollment information, various scholarship opportunities, translated blogs, campus visits, and our Strong Stories! We wanted to make sure that very important content is easily accessible. We have even translated our emergency planning, MC Alert, to inform parents on how our students receive emergency notifications and a glossary of offices and student support services!
Where can I find this information?
Meredith En Español can be found on the header and footer of the Meredith College website under “Information For.” Other translated content can be found throughout the Meredith web site – just make sure to click the En Español button on the right hand side of the screen!
