Meredith faculty and staff can support the College’s recruitment efforts in a variety of ways. Director of Admissions Justine Whitfield recently shared resources to assist employees when speaking with prospective students.

Campus Visits
Fall 2023 Start Strong survey data shows the campus visit is one of the top considerations (rated at 69%) for choosing Meredith College. Campus visits that include faculty visits resume on Tuesday, September 3. 

Whitfield says faculty and staff play important roles during these campus visits.

“Being a warm, welcoming representative of the College is extremely helpful when students and families visit campus, during Open Houses as well as on individual visits,” Whitfield said. “Your smiles and friendly greetings speak volumes about the kind of community students will join by choosing Meredith.”

Encourage prospective students you know to schedule a campus visit. Information about visit options is available at meredith.edu/admissions/visit.

Admissions Event Dates
Think Meredith open houses will be held this fall on Saturday, September 21, and Saturday, November 16. Several Transfer and Wings programs are also planned. View more campus visit information 

Information for Prospective Students
The Admissions team has shared a Google Drive folder of resources to help during conversations with prospective students. These include details about scholarship opportunities. 

College Search Feedback
Employees who have recently gone through the college choice/campus visit process with their family members are encouraged to share feedback – what worked and what were turn-offs for their student/s in the process.
