Adverse Winter Weather
With the Raleigh area under a Winter Storm Advisory, Meredith College classes will be held remotely on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Employees who can work remotely can do so during all shifts on January 26 – January 27. Campus activities for Sunday, January 25, are also cancelled.

Please continue to monitor weather updates from the National Weather Service and local news outlets for the most up-to-date information on the storm. For more information on winter weather safety and preparation, visit  ReadyNC.gov.

New Website Showcases Meredith Event Spaces

Meredith now has an updated website to showcase its events spaces, including Jones Chapel, Johnson Hall Rotunda, and Jones Auditorium.

Whether you’re planning an important life event such as a wedding or hosting a meeting or other event, Meredith’s beautiful campus is the perfect venue for your important occasion.

The new site includes details about Meredith’s spaces, which can accommodate a range of event needs. There is also a special section for wedding venues, including the newly refurbished Jones Chapel.
