Adverse Winter Weather
With the Raleigh area under a Winter Storm Advisory, Meredith College classes will be held remotely on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Employees who can work remotely can do so during all shifts on January 26 – January 27. Campus activities for Sunday, January 25, are also cancelled.

Meredith’s Lori Jamieson Named an IFDA Star Student

Lori Jamieson, a senior majoring in interior design, was recognized as a “Star Student” at the “Night of Luminaries” event sponsored by the Carolinas Chapter of the International Furnishings & Design Association (IFDA) on November 8, 2017 in High Point, N.C.

“Star Students” from colleges and universities in North Carolina and South Carolina were recognized. Lori showed her work to industry members, received recognition at the dinner, and membership into IFDA.

Along with “Star Students” awards, the IFDA Luminaries Award recipient for 2017 was Bob Timberlake, an American realist artist and designer of home furnishings.
