Meredith Student Receives 2019 IFDA Rising Star Award

Meredith College student Carly Savage is a 2019 recipient of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) Rising Star Award.
Born and raised in the Carolinas, Carly Savage is a soon-to-be graduate of the Meredith College interior design program. She currently works as an intern at Storr Office Environments in Raleigh, N.C. She holds a 3.8 GPA in Interior Design, and has previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in art education from Meredith. She is passionate about design, art, dogs, and her loving husband, Jordan.
The IFDA Rising Star awards honor the best design student in undergraduate programs from colleges and universities across North Carolina, South Carolina, and southern Virginia. The awards were presented during the organization’s Night of Luminaries on November 6, 2019, in High Point, N.C.
IFDA is the premier association for professional development and scholarship for the home furnishings and design industries. With chapters across the US and Japan, IFDA is open to any professional working in or with home furnishings or design.
