- Published
Amy Langston, ’17, who is earning a Master of Arts in religious studies from Hartford Seminary, has been featured as a part of the school’s Peacemaker Profile series. Langston, a Raleigh native, is a member of Hartford’s International Peacemaking Program (IPP).
The IPP, which is in its 14th year, is Hartford’s flagship scholarship program. It is open to students and community activists from the United States and other countries where there is interreligious tension or conflict.
As an IPP Fellow, Langston will spend the academic year studying interfaith dialogue, conflict transformation, and leadership skills. She lives in interfaith housing on campus, where she spends time in local faith communities, and receives practical skill-building training to enhance her capacity as a peacemaker.
Langston earned her Bachelor of Arts in religious and ethical studies with a minor in criminology from Meredith College in May.
