Members of Meredith Giving Societies Honored 

Iris Society and Lifetime Giving Society members were invited to a concert and holiday social on December 8, 2019, to thank them for their gifts to Meredith College.

The group enjoyed a Winterfest Concert featuring Meredith student music groups followed by a social in the Johnson Hall Rotunda that also featured special performances from the Department of Music.

“We love nothing more than hosting this event each year,” said Astra Ball, director of advancement services. “Many of our donors say that they look forward to it and it kicks off the holiday season for them. They are always amazed at the talent of our student performers and it really gives us a chance to highlight the caliber of education our music students are receiving.”

Meredith’s Lifetime Giving Societies include:

• Thomas Meredith Society ($100,000+) cumulative giving to any fund(s)
• Stringfield Endowment Society ($25,000+) giving to any endowment fund
• Heritage Society is a gift in will, trust, insurance policy, and gift annuity
• Iris Society – President’s circle ($5,000+ annually) or ($2,500) for recent graduates
• Iris Society ($1,000-$4,999 annually) or ($500) for recent graduates
