Commencement Ceremonies for the Class of 2024 Planned for May 11

Meredith College will hold Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2024 on Saturday, May 11, in the Courtyard behind Johnson Hall. Ceremonies will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

A live stream of these ceremonies will be available at youtube.com/@MeredithCollegeLive.

Approximately 490 undergraduate and graduate members of the class are eligible to participate. Separate hooding ceremonies will be held for those completing graduate degrees. Included in commencement ceremonies for 2024 are individuals who completed degrees in Summer 2023, December 2023, and May 2024 and (pending) Summer 2024.

The events will focus on the graduates and their families. The class president will address the Class of 2024, and President Jo Allen, ’80, will speak at each event in her final commencement before she retires in June after 13 years as the College’s first alumna president.

Separate hooding ceremonies will be held for those completing graduate degrees. Visit meredith.edu/commencement for a full schedule of commencement events.
