The Avenging Angels earned one of six spots in this weekend’s conference tournament set to begin Friday in Rocky Mount, NC.
MC Lacrosse clinched the program’s first USA South Regular Season Championship on March 30 with a win over rival Methodist University and will face off again with the Monarchs Friday morning in the semifinals of the league tournament. Meredith hosts Lynchburg College Saturday, April 23 in the final home contest of the season.
This afternoon the Meredith softball team will conclude the 2016 season with a non-conference doubleheader at Virginia Wesleyan. The Marlins were ranked fifth in the latest NCAA Division III poll and mark the fourth nationally or regionally ranked program on the Avenging Angels’ tough schedule this season.
Meredith’s first-ever track & field team continues to deliver impressive performances while competing against NCAA Division I, II, and III programs.
