Preparing For the Career of Her Dreams – Brittany Millice

“Meredith prepared me for the career of my dreams.”

So said Brittany Millice, ’16, a mathematics major with a minor in finance who will start a job with Credit Suisse this summer.

“The best part of my Meredith experience was being able to start my senior year knowing I had a job after graduation. Meredith prepared me for an internship at Credit Suisse last year, which turned into a job offer upon completion. My advisor and the Office of Career Planning were a huge help with things like setting up my resume and LinkedIn profile.”

Brittany credits her relationships with her professors as another driver for her success.

“Going to a school like Meredith that has such a good teacher-to-student ratio really benefited me. It was so nice to be able to have one-on-one conversations with my professors about class and life in general. Meredith faculty are not just teachers, they are listeners to the problems we face as students.”

In addition to pursuing her studies, Brittany enjoyed student life at Meredith. She played soccer for three years, until an injury sidelined her, and served as a Resident Assistant. She also participated in the Meredith Accounting and Finance Association, 1891 club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was a co-choreographer for Cornhuskin’.

“The moment I walked onto campus years ago, I knew this was where I was supposed to go to college. I am so grateful for all the opportunities my Meredith experience has made possible.”
