Lormarev has acted, choreographed, and/or directed for local and regional theatres including Cincinnati Fringe Festival; Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park; Know Theatre of Cincinnati; The Carnegie of Northern Kentucky; Raleigh Ensemble Players; Burning Coal Theatre Company; Deep Dish Theatre, and Raleigh Little Theatre; she has created musical theatre choreography for several local high schools, including Cary High, Research Triangle High, Carrboro High, and Raleigh Charter High School.
Her stage management and design work has been seen at La Mama Experimental Theatre Club and Dixon Place in New York City, as well as Theatre in the Park, Deep Dish Theatre, Burning Coal, Raleigh Ensemble Players, and Sarah Lawrence College.
Lormarev’s solo play, My Geriatric Uterus, premiered at the 2019 Cincinnati Fringe Festival and won the David C. Herriman Artists’ Pick of the Fringe Award. In the summer of 2020, she revised the script to film a virtual adaptation, which can be purchased through Vimeo.
She is currently studying to achieve certification in Intimacy Direction for Live Performance from Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), an internationally known organization dedicated to promoting and creating consent-forward spaces on stages and in rehearsal halls and classrooms across the globe.
