Profile
Jessica Palmer brings a rich blend of experience in fashion, teaching, and industry. Joining the Meredith College community in 2019, Professor Palmer connects, nurtures, and guides students through the intricacies of fashion. She is passionate about igniting creativity and empowering her students to find their path in the fashion world.
Beyond the classroom, her impact extends into the fashion community. Her career journey began by working in the fashion district in NYC where she gained invaluable insights and experience. Inspired by her passion for design and entrepreneurship, she ventured in to launching her own custom bridal company, followed by creating a children’s wear brand and later, the management of an online boutique. Professor Palmer’s industry experiences have enriched her 15 years of teaching fashion in higher education, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
