Gaye Hill is director of recruitment marketing at Meredith College. In that role, she oversees the development and execution of marketing campaigns to support the College’s recruitment goals. She collaborates with enrollment partners across campus as well as outside vendors to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that align with current branding efforts, and analyzes and reports data to track and measure the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns.
During her tenure at Meredith, Hill has guided message development for the highly successful Going Strong brand, which has positively impacted recruitment, fundraising, and overall perception of the College. A member of the Marketing Leadership Team, Hill has held numerous additional roles at Meredith including serving on various college-wide committees, supporting the development and communication of the strategic plan, and teaching a freshman seminar course.
Previously, Hill held communication and development roles at statewide and national nonprofits. Those positions involved recruiting, training, and directing volunteers, co-leading international learning trips, and helping to plan regional and national conferences. She has also taught writing at the community college level.
Hill graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude with a B.A. in religion and an M.A. in English from Florida State University. She also holds a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Digital Communications from Meredith College and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke Continuing Studies. She has served on the College News Association of the Carolinas (CNAC) Board and presents at professional conferences including the American Marketing Association and HighEdWeb.
