Charles W. (Chuck) Stuber, Jr., grew up in Raleigh, NC, and graduated from N.C. State University and the University of North Carolina Law School.  Stuber was an FBI Special Agent for over 28 years serving in FBI offices in Denver, Colorado, Washington, D.C., and Raleigh, NC.  While in the FBI, Stuber handled numerous high profile public corruption investigations, elaborate white collar crime cases, and hostage situations among his various duties.  After retiring from the FBI, Stuber served as the Chief Investigator for the NC State Board of Elections before leaving to run for the NC State Auditor position, which he narrowly lost to the two-term incumbent.  Stuber currently teaches Constitutional Law and Crisis Intervention as an adjunct instructor at Wake Technical Community College and handles a variety of complex matters as a member of SRS Consulting Services, LLC. Stuber is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics, and a member of the NC State Bar.  Stuber, his father, Charlie, and late son, Alex, are the only father-son-grandson trio to be inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at N.C. State University.

Stuber became familiar with Meredith College at an early age and was a frequent visitor to Meredith’s campus.  Stuber’s mother, Marilyn Stuber, was the Chairperson of the Home Economics Department (now Human Environmental Sciences) for 30 years.  Stuber’s daughter, Andrea Stuber Moholt, is a 2014 graduate of the Meredith Interior Design Program, which is a part of the department Marilyn Stuber led during her tenure at Meredith.

Stuber is currently the Chairperson of the Highland United Methodist Church Administrative Council, a Youth Leader at Highland, and has coached youth basketball for the Raleigh Parks & Recreation for over 20 years.  Stuber and his wife, Janet, enjoy traveling with their family and have set foot on all seven continents.  They especially love spending time with their granddaughter and grandson.
