Stuber is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics, and a member of the NC State Bar. Stuber became familiar with Meredith College at an early age and was a frequent visitor to Meredith’s campus. Stuber’s mother, Marilyn Stuber, was the Chairperson of the Home Economics Department (now Human Environmental Sciences) for 30 years. Stuber’s daughter, Andrea Stuber Moholt, is a 2014 graduate of the Meredith Interior Design Program, which is a part of the department Marilyn Stuber led during her tenure at Meredith.
Stuber is currently the Chairperson of the Highland United Methodist Church Administrative Council, a Youth Leader at Highland, and has coached youth basketball for the Raleigh Parks & Recreation for over 20 years. Stuber and his wife, Janet, enjoy traveling with their family and have set foot on all seven continents. They especially love spending time with their granddaughter and grandson.
