You want to be sure the college you choose has a culture that is right for you. Today’s blog highlights facilities on Meredith’s campus – one important aspect of your college experience – to give you an inside look at student life.
Living on campus during your college years is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s a great way to meet new people and immerse yourself in student life. All our residence halls have recently been renovated with LED lighting, new carpet, and smart TVs.
And by living on campus, you’ll have easy access to all the amenities Meredith offers.
Newly furnished with a variety of comfortable, modern seating, the library is a great location to find your perfect study spot. Additionally, the library hosts craft workshops and other fun events; it also houses the Learning Center, which provides free peer tutoring for all students.
Many students like to take a study break and enjoy our beautiful campus at the new hammock stands located near Lux Hall and Carlyle Campbell Library. Bring your own hammock or check one out from the library circulation desk.
The Cate Student Center is a popular place to relax between classes, host student-led events, and grab a bite at the Bee Hive. The center also has workspaces and computers available for commuter students.
The Meredith College Campus Store, which is located in Cate Center, sells Meredith-branded merchandise such as shirts, hats, key chains, and more.
The Lowery Fitness Center is available to all students and includes a variety of cardio machines, powerlifting racks, free weights, resistance machines, and other accessory equipment and technology enhancements. There are also free group exercise classes available through Angels in Motion, a student-run program.
Conveniently located in the Weatherspoon Athletic Center, you’ll be able to fit in a workout anytime throughout the day.
From award-winning dance performances to thought-provoking exhibits to world-renowned visiting artists, Meredith offers an array of cultural arts opportunities. No matter your major, you’re welcome to express your creativity and enjoy the arts at our many facilities.
