4 Great Reasons to Apply Early Action

As you continue to narrow down the colleges on your list, you may be wondering whether you should apply Early Action or Regular Decision. 

Only you know the answer to this question, but here are some reasons applying Early Action might make sense for you.

1. Early Action Is Not Binding – Applying Early Action doesn’t lock you into a decision. That means you’re able to apply to as many colleges as you like.
2. More Time to Make Your Decision – by applying Early Action to Meredith, you’ll receive an admission decision and merit scholarship offer by December 15. You’ll have plenty of time to finish the financial aid process and reserve your space in your Class.
3. You Can Apply for Funding – Applying Early Action and receiving an offer of admission by December 15 puts you in a good place to apply for Meredith’s Scholars Programs and Talent Scholarships. The deadline to apply for Scholars Programs and talent scholarships is January 15.
4. Enjoy Your Senior Year – applying Early Action means you receive an admission decision and scholarship offer earlier! You’ll be that much closer to wrapping up your college search and enjoying the second half of your senior year.
