In November 2017, Meredith College was selected as a partner institution for the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Forgivable Loan Program. Applicants who are interested in teaching science, math, and special education are eligible to apply for the state program.
Students participating in the program will receive up to $10,000 per year in forgivable loans if they commit to teach in an approved teaching area.
At Meredith, undergraduate North Carolina Teaching Fellows will also be a member of the Meredith College Teaching Scholars program.
