Wings Alumnae Share Insight with Current Students

The Office of Alumnae Relations and the Office of Wings hosted the  third annual Connections and Conversations Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 7 in Belk Dining Hall.

Wings alumnae and current Wings students enjoyed dinner, an alumnae panel discussion, and table conversation. The alumnae panel included Julia Adams-Scheurich, ’06, Melody Yow Chalmers, ‘ 99, Anne DeCocco, ‘04, and Jill Feore Donovan, ’04.  Mary Esther Baker, ’96, moderated the panel.

Table discussions included the following:

• Dealing with difficult situations – life and academic – and staying the course
• How, when, where, and why to seek campus resources and support
• Engaging a support network with family and friends
• Appreciating your fit as Wings student and being active/involved in the campus community
• Preparing to transition to life after Meredith
