Weather Update: Changes to Operating Schedule on 2/20/25

In a previous communication, Meredith College had announced classes for February 20, 2025, would be canceled until 11 a.m. Because of lingering impacts from Wednesday’s snowfall in the Raleigh area, the operating schedule will be further modified. Meredith College will operate remotely after 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Classes: For classes, remote operations mean classes will not be held on campus. For classes scheduled at 11 a.m. or after, students should check email and Brightspace for messages from faculty about out-of-class assignments, virtual meetings, etc.

Administrative offices: Offices will operate remotely to the extent possible. Employees should consult with their supervisors who are encouraged to be flexible and recognize that some employees may be unable to work because of a lack of access to power and the Internet.

Campus Conditions: Grounds crews will continue working to clear overnight accumulations on campus roadways and walkways as quickly as possible. However, surfaces may remain slick. Use caution when moving around campus and stay inside as much as possible.

Library Hours: Call 919-760-8532 or visit the library website to see if the library is open before visiting.

Next Update: This message concludes our inclement weather updates on tomorrow’s winter weather event. Should additional changes need to be made to the operating schedule for 2/21/25, this decision will be announced by 6 a.m. on 2/21/25
