The 27th Annual Meredith Golf Classic Held

The annual Meredith Golf Classic was held on September 8, 2025, at Wildwood Green Golf Club. The event brought together 19 teams to support Meredith Athletics, with 100% of the proceeds supporting student-athletes.

Generous sponsors donated to various locations on the course and prizes to the 76 people who played in the tournament. The College thanks them for believing in the mission of the Meredith College athletics program to provide student-athletes the opportunity to achieve excellence in their academic, athletic, and personal pursuits.

The day started with breakfast provided by Cafe Carolina and coffee from Capitol Coffee. 

As golfers approached each hole, they were greeted on the cart screens with video messages from coaches and team members—personal notes of thanks from the athletic programs they were at the Golf Classic to support.

First-time and long-standing participants in the golf classic enjoyed the beautiful weather, meeting the Institutional Advancement staff and Jackie Myers, athletic director, and, of course, supporting Meredith’s athletic teams. 

After the tournament, participants enjoyed a barbecue lunch courtesy of the BBQ Lab, with dessert provided by Tiff’s Treats, followed by the announcement of winners and presentation of prizes.
