Nutrition Faculty Member Honored by North Carolina Courage

Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Didactic Program Director Rachel Findley was recently honored by the North Carolina Courage professional women’s soccer team. Findley received the Merz Aesthetics Woman of the Match Award on September 1.
The NC Courage and their partners at Merz Aesthetics present the ‘Woman of the Match” award each month to a community leader who inspires confidence. The “Woman of the Match” award recognizes Triangle community leaders for their commitment to empowering women.
Findley has been a member of the Meredith faculty since 2015. She has also served as president of the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels of Wake County and has more than 17 years of experience as a registered dietitian nutritionist. She is passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of nutrition and food service professionals and supporting her community. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), she has a strong background in food service management systems, menu development, and nutrition education, which she applies to her teaching and curriculum design.
