The mission of the Office of the Registrar is to support the primary functions of the college population by creating, maintaining the integrity of, archiving, and distributing academic records. Our goal is to provide service and support for Meredith College’s students, alumnae, faculty, and staff while supporting our mission and the goals of the institution. Each member of our team plays a critical role in meeting this objective.
The Office of the Registrar has welcomed new team members and some returning team members have new responsibilities this year. Learn more about our team below.
Katie Potts, Associate Registrar for Student Completion handles annual degree audit updates, substitutions and exceptions, graduation applications, degree completion verification, and application and clarification of College policies.
Lori Taylor, Associate Registrar for Records and Registration, evaluates transfer credit, processes VA benefits for students, responds to requests for student information, and manages the waitlist, Dean’s list, and grading processes.
Jacqueline Briggs-Jackson, Assistant Registrar, creates the class and exam schedules, assigns classroom space for classes and final exams, processes special studies proposals and research forms, and makes annual catalogue updates and maintenance.
Jasmine Lewis, Records Specialist, is the primary contact for incoming calls, emails sent to the office’s general account, and in-person customer service. She processes CRC (Cooperating Raleigh Colleges), forms, changes in registration, major/minor declarations, leave of absence requests, withdrawals, transcript orders, and advisor assignments.
Together, we are strong.
