Meredith College Hosts CACRAO NC School Counselor Conference

Meredith College hosted the Raleigh area CACRAO N.C. School Counselor Conference on September 9, 2025. 

The NC School Counselor Conferences are held every year by the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (CACRAO), a professional organization that supports postsecondary education and helps its members grow through professional development and collaboration with SACRAO and AACRAO.

Anita Thomas Speaking at Event in Kresge Auditorium.Each event includes presentations, a college fair, and a panel discussion, along with opportunities to network and share ideas with other professionals. To make them as accessible as possible, five conferences are held at different locations across North Carolina, and attendance is free for high school counselors and advisors.

This conference featured presentations by CFNC, Strivescan, the NC Community College System, the UNC System, and NCICU, and updates from Meredith College.

These conferences give high school counselors and advisors a chance to connect directly with colleges and universities, learn about the latest trends in college counseling, and stay up-to-date on changes in higher education so they can better guide their students.
