The Meredith College Avenging Angels have hit the ground running in the 2024 fall sports season, with volleyball, soccer, cross country, field hockey, and golf teams already making impressive strides.
- Soccer boasts a 4-1-1 record, with standout performances earning USA South weekly honors for Khaliah Jones and Kate Conoley. Recently, soccer enjoyed a successful road trip, securing two wins and enjoying time together as a team.
- Volleyball is off to a strong start with a 5-3 record, with Lillie Davis and Delaney Lowery securing USA South weekly honors and Catelyn Russell earning an All-Tournament Team recognition.
- Field Hockey has shown offensive expansion, highlighted by a thrilling home opener against Goucher. Freshman, Maya Kirstein, was named Field Hockey Analyst Player of the Week!
- Cross Country bounced back from a rain-out opening weekend with a strong showing at UNC Wilmington. Delaney Bundy was named USA South Runner of the Week.
- Golf opened its season at the Shenandoah Invite, setting the tone for a competitive season ahead.
