Meredith College Announces Plans for In-Person Commencement Ceremonies for 2020 and 2021 Graduates

Meredith College plans to hold commencement ceremonies for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 on campus in May.
In order to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols, the ceremonies will be held over multiple days. All of the events will be held in Meredith’s courtyard.
Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2020 will be held on Saturday, May 1, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., and Sunday, May 2, at 11 a.m.
Hooding ceremonies for graduate programs will be held on Saturday, May 8, at the following times:
Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2021 will be held on Saturday, May 15, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. and on Sunday, May 16 at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Attendees will need to register in advance for one of the ceremonies using a sign-up form that was shared with graduates via email and on meredith.edu/commencement.
Attendance will be limited; each graduate can have two guests with the opportunity to request one additional ticket. The events will also be live streamed at youtube.com/MeredithCollegeLive to allow for additional participation.
Faculty members are also invited to attend. Registration information was provided to faculty via email.
The health and safety of the Meredith community continue to be a priority. Meredith’s community standards will be in effect for the ceremonies, and all current national and state guidelines will be followed.
