January 2023 Assessment Matters: Alumnae Survey

The Office of Research Planning and Assessment (RPA), with input from various campus units, surveyed Meredith undergraduate alumnae during the summer/fall of 2022. The College invited 10,354 Meredith undergraduate alumnae who graduated between 1960 and 2021 to participate in the survey. Twenty-seven percent of the undergraduate alumnae emailed started the survey, while 22% completed the entire questionnaire.

The survey was designed to update existing undergraduate alumnae records and gather feedback about alumnae’s curricular and co-curricular Meredith experience, the Going Strong brand campaign, and other strategic priorities. Also included in the survey were questions pertaining to specific majors. Discipline specific question blocks were developed by RPA in partnership with the relevant academic departments. These results will be reported separately, including in the next Campus Connections

The results from this survey are used by a number of units on campus in their annual assessment processes, as well as by Institutional Advancement to reach out to alumnae who have expressed particular interest in contributing to Meredith in various ways.
