In this issue, we share news from the art and history departments and the Meredith Autism Program.
Drs. Chelsea Cutright and Greg Vitarbo presented at an event hosted by the Meredith College HIPR Club, the student organization of the History, International Studies, Political Science, and Religion Department. The event, called HIPR Special Interest Day, brought students and faculty together for a slate of 5-minute speed presentations on a range of topics. Dr. Cutright presented an ethnographic story from her fieldwork in Tanzania, and Dr. Vitarbo presented on the history of bad technology predictions.
“Process as Practice: A Glimpse Into The Studio,” an exhibition showcasing the research processes that inform and enrich the practice of art department faculty across a variety of disciplines and media, is now on view in the Frankie G. Weems Gallery through March 6.
