Adverse Winter Weather
With the Raleigh area under a Winter Storm Advisory, Meredith College classes will be held remotely on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Employees who can work remotely can do so during all shifts on January 26 – January 27. Campus activities for Sunday, January 25, are also cancelled.

Ellen Brewer Infant/Toddler Lab Home Earns Five Star Rating

Meredith’s Ellen Brewer Infant/Toddler Lab Home earned a five star rating in its Infant Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS) assessment and re-evaluation this fall.

This assessment involves a visit from the NC Rated License Assessment Project to evaluates all aspects of a child care center. A 5 star rating is the highest level of completion. EBH remains one of the highest ranked centers in the Raleigh area.

The Ellen Brewer House is an on-campus child care program serving children whose ages range from 6 weeks to 2 years, and offers child development students the opportunity to participate in hands-on observation and work during the academic year.
