Alumnae Educators Supported by the Office of Alumnae Relations

The Office of Alumnae Relations wanted to let educators know that Meredith College supports their work, so Back-to-School packets were mailed once again to teachers, guidance counselors, librarians, administrators, and other education personnel.

This summer, the Office of Alumnae Relations reached out to alumnae to register to receive a Back-to-School packet. More than 500 alumnae registered, representing 50 different class years from 1964 to 2024 and living in 23 different states. This year’s packet included Meredith-themed goodies, including a straw-topper, a mouse pad, a poster to display in their classrooms or workspace, a flyer with upcoming visit dates, and admission application vouchers for high school teachers.

“Alumnae educators have year after year promoted the College to future students and we are grateful for that,” said Hilary Allen, ‘01, director of alumnae relations. “We wanted them to know that we support their work in education and this is a way for us to thank them and show them their alma mater is thinking of them at the start of their academic year.”

The Alumnae Office has received positive feedback via the Alumnae Facebook group from alumnae who have received their Back-to-School packets.
