You’ve been to college before—and that matters.

Our orientation for transfer students is built with that in mind. We know your path to Meredith may look different from our first-year students’, so we’ve designed a program that helps you get to know Meredith on your own terms—while honoring the experiences and growth you’ve already had.

You’ll be placed in a group with other transfer students to help you connect with peers who are making a similar transition. These groups are led by our Wings and Transfer Advisors (WTAs)—returning students who know what it’s like to transfer and are ready to support you as you settle in.

As a transfer student, you’re expected to take part in the full four-day orientation experience. However, some transfer students may be eligible for our one-day Fast Track option offered to our Wings/Adult students. The Admissions Office will reach out this summer to discuss which path is the best fit for you.

Orientation is a full experience—expect to be busy, engaged, and connected throughout the four-day or one-day program. A detailed schedule will be available in early August.
