Commuting to campus? We’ve got you covered!

You’ll need to be at all required programs listed on the New Student Orientation schedule, and there are a few on each day of Orientation. Don’t worry—we’ve got meals for you when you’re expected to be on campus, regardless of your meal plan status during the school year.

And here’s the fun part: We’ve got two special events just for commuter students!

Saturday, August 16th from 3:30 – 3:50 pm at Johnson Hall Rotunda:
On the first day of Orientation, you’ll check in and meet your Student Advisors before heading to the Welcome Session together. It’s the perfect way to get started!

Sunday, August 17th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm in Kresge Auditorium, Cate Center:
On day two, join us for an Information Session designed to help you connect with each other, learn about campus resources, and meet the Association of Meredith Commuters (AMC). This is your chance to get plugged in!

We also highly encourage commuter students to join in on the optional events throughout the week. These are fantastic opportunities to meet new friends and start building connections before classes kick off.
