Get Ready to Kick Off an Amazing Year at Meredith!

We can’t wait to welcome you to campus and officially start your Meredith journey! Our New Student Orientation (NSO) is packed with everything you need to feel right at home — important info, new friendships, and a whole lot of excitement.

Who should attend?
Everyone! New students — whether you’re a first-year, transfer, or commuter — are all part of Orientation. We’re busy crafting an unforgettable 2025 experience, but you can look forward to a week filled with academic sessions, community activities, and social events to help you meet your classmates and get connected.

Meet Your People!
During Orientation, you’ll join a Student Advising Group (we call them SA Groups), led by a returning Meredith student who knows the ropes. Your Student Advisor will guide you through the Orientation experience, answer your questions, and be a friendly face all year long. Your group will also share the same Faculty Advisor, giving you even more support as you settle in. 

What’s the vibe?
Activities happen all day — starting around 9:00 AM and rolling into fun nighttime events — so there’s always something happening! Keep an eye on the New Student Orientation schedule as we’ll be updating it regularly with new details.

And the fun doesn’t stop there!
After Orientation, you’ll have even more opportunities to get involved during the first four weeks of the semester with extra educational and social programs to help you feel even more connected.
