Adverse Winter Weather
With the Raleigh area under a Winter Storm Advisory, Meredith College classes will be held remotely on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Employees who can work remotely can do so during all shifts on January 26 – January 27. Campus activities for Sunday, January 25, are also cancelled.

Heather White, founder and CEO of One Green Thing, will present “Green Civics: Democracy Isn’t a Spectator Sport.” OneGreenThing.org tackles eco-anxiety through joyful daily action, inspiring culture change for policy solutions. White’s talk at Meredith will focus on “climate change, citizenship, and civics to build the future we want.”
