If you’re a high schooler interested in STEM, applying to Meredith’s STEM College may be the right for you! Our STEM College is an opportunity for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade women to gain hands-on experience in a collegiate setting.
STEM College is a residential experience, meaning you’ll live on campus in one of Meredith’s residence halls Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks. Meals will be provided at Belk Dining Hall.
Throughout the experience, you’ll work hands-on in the lab, connect with scientists, and complete a capstone project to present to your family and faculty. The skills you gain will help you succeed in college and a career in STEM.
Get a head start on your college coursework. By participating in STEM College, you’ll earn three college credits.
STEM College isn’t all work either. There are two field trips and social activities such as bowling and bonfire nights. There’ll be plenty of time to connect with other students with the same interests as you.
Sign up for our blog and get tips to help you write a strong college application essay. You’ll also receive valuable information every week to help you with your college search, including how to tell if a school is a good fit, how to pay for college, and more!
