Incoming Students: How to Connect With Classmates Before College Starts

You’ve received your acceptance letter, paid your deposit, and are counting down the days until Move-In Day. Although this is an exciting time, you may also be feeling some nerves about meeting people in a new environment – that’s completely normal. In today’s blog, we share two platforms to help you connect with classmates before you officially start college.

Ready. Set. Go Strong. is Meredith’s onboarding portal. In addition to finding academic and campus life information on the platform, you can

• Attend virtual peer-led meetups and small group activities
• Chat with your student advisors
• Find a roommate (if needed) 

Once you submit your deposit, you should receive an email with your Ready. Set. Go Strong. login information. Please contact your Admissions Counselor if you have any questions or issues logging in.

ZeeMee

Join the Meredith community on ZeeMee, an app designed to help students build community. On the app, you can share posts to introduce yourself, chat with other incoming students, and ask current students about their Meredith experience.
