Meredith College recently announced a new nursing program that will provide students with valuable opportunities to pursue rewarding careers while addressing the shortage of healthcare workers in North Carolina.

Our curriculum focuses on active learning strategies and integrates evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and skills to prepare you for the dynamic and complex healthcare environment. Students will complete 640 clinical hours and be “practice-ready” across a variety of settings and organizations.
Although this is a new program, Meredith has an established history of preparing students to enter the nursing field. Our accomplished alumnae have been accepted into top nursing programs at schools such as UNC-Chapel Hill, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Duke University.
Meredith alumnae are employed in various areas of the nursing field including neonatal intensive care, cardiology, pediatrics, clinical research, heart failure, lung transplant, hospice and palliative care, and more.
