Celebrating Meredith's Mission in Action

Meredith provided a supportive environment for Cady Stanley, ’25, to grow as a writer, thinker, and dancer. From studying abroad to producing the Colton Review, Stanley developed several skills that will serve her beyond college.

Luisa Jaramillo, ’23, chose to earn her M.A. in psychology at Meredith College because of its student-focused program and required internship. She plans to help organizations and leaders make the most of their employees’ strengths.

At Meredith, computer science and math major Emma Brooks, ’24, found an environment where she could focus on learning without worrying about gender biases. Next she’ll earn a master’s in analytics to prepare for a career in data science.

The Meredith Autism Program (MAP) is accepting applications for the Explorers Inclusive Preschool Classroom, its half-day, play-based program that integrates neurotypical peers alongside learners with autism.

February is National Financial Aid Awareness Month, which makes it a great time to work on your FAFSA if you haven’t already.

Wednesday, February 4, 2026, is National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a day celebrating the accomplishments of girls and women in sports and acknowledging the positive influence of sports participation.

Meredith’s annual giving day, Make It Count for Meredith, will be held on February 24, 2026, with a goal of raising $1.5 million in 24 hours. Gifts support students and the campus community.

Strategic plans are important roadmaps for an organization’s future, and the Meredith community is well on its way to developing the College’s next strategic vision.
Meredith, like many colleges and universities across the country, is carefully navigating financial pressures influenced by changing economic and demographic trends, as well as federal policies shaping higher education. Since Fall 2024, Meredith’s leadership has taken strategic steps to strengthen the College’s financial foundation, ensuring that we not only remain sound but continue to grow and flourish well into the future.
